Design & Character
These are liveable spaces in one of Austin’s most sought after neighbourhoods for the single set—or for folks who do business downtown and want to walk to work. Hip, but not trendy, Roost Rainey spans four floors of Paseo LV Collective’s 48-story, mixed use development at 80 Rainey Street. It’s lively and contemporary, with common spaces for working, a pool, a restaurant, a coffee bar open to the public downstairs, a buzzy rooftop pool, workout space and a doggie outdoor play area. Basically, it’s the apartment you’ve been wishing you could find in New York, San Francisco or Austin. But, it’s right here on Rainey Street. Local art throughout the hotel gives ROOST Rainey a city’s insider profile feel—there’s nothing generic here.
Rooms
Rooms, even the smallest, are penthouse-like, remarkably huge–creatively configured spaces with supreme city views. Furnished with residential flourishes, no room is identical to another. Choose from fully furnished studio, one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom apartment hotel units, all with full-sized kitchens, in-unit laundry, the brand’s premium in-room coffee program (with Bonavita coffee makers and Capresso grinders), filtered water and access to a 24-hour concierge. The sophisticated interiors with curated vintage and modern pieces were inspired by the historical Rainey District’s legends, and designed collaboratively by LV Collective, Method Co, and ZZ Driggs. Custom artwork by Alex Bodishbaugh seals the deal.
Food & Drink
The ground floor holds Daydreamer Coffee, a seductive see-and-be-seen space, ideal for friendly co-working, drinks, coffee, wine and snacks. Anybody can come in, so who knows whom you might meet? On the 12th-floor, complete with a rooftop terrace, Amaya serves a Mediterranean menu with an emphasis on mezze and light fare.
Spa and Wellness
My jaw dropped at the sight of ROOST Rainey’s sprawling, state-of-the-art gym and fitness area. Expect top of the line equipment, and extras like a Power Plate. You’ll also find a yoga room and yoga classes for guests, as well as saunas, a cold plunge and more. The pool is festive , with food and drink service. Look for the cabanas with tables that double as coolers.

Downtown unfurls along Congress Avenue five minutes away/ SoCo, an entertainment district with an array of independent shops, restaurants and bars never disappoints. Swim at famous Barton Springs, listen to music at the iconic Continental Club, and run on Lady Bird Lake, which can be accessed just a few lunges from the front door of the hotel.

Our Favorite Thing About the Hotel:
It’s an unbelievable value in this insanely popular city. The rooms are stunning and seriously huge and the 12th floor pool deck sports breathtaking views of Lady Bird Lake.
Dining: Amaya upstairs on the 12th floor by the pool serves stellar Mediterranean fare and Daydreamer Coffee on the first floor is a bonafide coffeeshop.
